Past - Present - Future 7 Card Tarot Spread Reading Normally a 3 card tarot spread will be used to conduct a past – present and future tarot reading, but when you need a little bit more insight and depth to your reading then the 7 card past – present and future tarot spread is more useful.
The cards are laid out as in the picture above and ready thus:

Card 3 future influences Card 4 possible outcome These two cards look at – A Possible outcome. They show where you are possibly heading towards and what you are likely to get. They are the culmination of the events happening now if nothing changes and you carry on along the path you are on right now.
Card 5 current influences Card 6 Present out look Card 7 present obstacles / hindrances The middle three cards represent now, the present and show what is going on for you right now. They outline the influences around you both positive and negative, and show what opportunities and challenges are currently on your path.
